Welcome to a new season!
Starting at THETFORD RFC NEXT SUNDAY – 7TH SEPTEMBER, there will be 3 ‘open access’ training sessions, open to ALL, even if you have not tried rugby before. Address and directions are at the end of this post.
Thanks to the help and support of Andrew Skipper, our local RFUW Club & Coaching Officer, our regular coaching team have been reinforced by some excellent new members, so we will be able to cater for
U18
U15
and U12/11 – that is girls born on or after 1st Sept 1996
On the third session, 21st September, we will choose U18 and U15 squads to represent Eastern Counties in a Festival to be held at Crawley (Sussex) on Sunday 28th September. There will be one further ‘open access session on 19th October.

Selections will be made on the basis both of skill and commitment, so if you want to wear an Eastern Counties shirt this year, and want the chance of representing East Region, please make every effort to attend.
Costs
There will be a single payment of £10.00 per player due on registration.
Parental Consent
Each player MUST bring a completed consent form in order to take part in the programme. You can download forms here.
Timings
Please arrive between 1.15 and 1.45, ready to start training at 2pm prompt. You will be finished by 4.30pm at the latest.
Meeting for parents / club representatives
There will be a short meeting about plans for this season once the girls have started training.
