U15 Regional Trial Nominations
December 13th, 2007

UPDATE - registration details here
On 20th January, trials will be held for the RFUW East Region U15 and U18 squads.
Competition is strong, as participation in the RFUW Regional Programme is the first step on the path towards representing England and wearing the White Shirt.
To those of you who played for this year’s U15 Eastern Counties Team, and have not been nominated, please do not be disheartened. Elsewhere in the region, there are plenty of very experienced 14-year-olds who will move up to U18 Rugby next year. At the moment, you may be young, or inexperienced, or quite possibly both. You may well have huge potential, but need more time to hone your skills. Your turn will come!
To those who have been nominated, congratulations!
Those nominated are:
Chloe Baker - St Joseph’s College
Rachel Burroughes - Wymondham
Alice Graham - Holt
Kelsey Davis - Swaffham
Emily Davis - Swaffham
Claire Johnston - Diss
Katie Parke - Swaffham
Xanthe Sparkes - Swaffham
Maya Wittmore-Tennent - Ely
Details of what to do about registration etc will follow, as will details of U18 nominations.

Firstly a huge congratulations to all the girls invited to trial.
Also on behalf of our players, parents and coaches a huge thank you to Win, all the other coaches, Vincent, Mandy and all the others without whom this wouldn’t have happened.
The amount of effort and commitment which this group of people put in ‘behind the scenes is huge and sadly at times goes unnoticed. So THANKS!!
And once more to all the girls who have been part of Eastern Counties & the girls play programme this is my first year proper working with girls rugby and I’ve been hugely impressed with the skills, commitment and passion with which you all play the game together with the friendships and fun you seem to have had (this is the real reason we all play this game!).
Well done to you all and have a brilliant Christmas
Spike
