The following players are invited to trial for the 2007 East Region U17 Squad:

The following will attend trials, but have automatic places in the squad due to their participation in the RFUW U17 Talent Development Group.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
60 or so of the best U17s from across the region have been invited to trial at Ely RFC from 1-3pm on Sunday 28th January for 30 places in the East Region Squad. Well run trials are very much worth attending for the experience, so I would encourage you to atend and enjoy the afternoon.
Training sessions will take place at Culford School, near Bury St Edmunds on the Regional Dates in the calendar here
Not all squad members will be selected to take part in all warm-up fixtures or the final festival at Rugby School. However as the Regional Programme is still considered to be a DEVELOPMENT programme all girls in the squad will be guaranteed at least ONE game on either 18th March (Away vs East Midlands) or on 1st April (at Ely vs Yorkshire and vs North East), should they be available. All girls who are selected for the playing squad of 25 which goes tot eh National Festival at Rugby School should get at least one game on the day.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
There is a trial fee of £5.00, payable on the day.
A further £40 will be required from all successful trialists at the 1st training session to cover the rest of the Programme. Grants are available on a case-by-case basis.
Those in the squad will be able to purchase the following East Region RFUW (Canterbury) clothing for a payment of £30:
