Sudbury Under 17s at Rochford Tens

Sudbury were placed as runners up at this year’s Rochford Tens - their best performance ever at a tournament. They dispatched every other team in their pool with some style, only conceding one try to Letchworth in thrilling final which could very easily have been drawn. Sudbury’s pack were effective in loose play in a way seldom seen in the girls game - it was an outstanding achievement for a squad with one new member and four guests to run Letchworth with their 20 or so regular players so close. Stand by for the return match in two weeks’ time!
